Filene Federal Credit Union is warning its members to be aware of fraudulent phone calls allegedly from the Filene FCU. Some of our members are receiving phone calls telling them that their ATM card has been locked and asking them for additional information.

Please do not respond or provide any information!
 

Above mentioned phone calls aren't originating from Filene Federal Credit Union!
 

Filene FCU will NEVER ask you for sensitive information over the phone!
 

This is obviously a phishing attempt!

Phishing is the criminally fraudulent process of attempting to acquire sensitive information such as Credit card or account details, usernames, passwords, etc. by masquerading as a trustworthy entity (e.g. our Credit Union) in an electronic communication (phone, fax, e-mail, etc.).

If you have received suspicious phone call - please report it to us at 617.357.2093.
